Chris Kimm is Senior Vice President of the Global Customer Care and Experience organization at Equinix, the world’s leading digital infrastructure company. Kimm leads more than 900 global teammates responsible for post-sales customer interactions. The organization is comprised of Customer Experience, Customer Project Management, Customer Success Management, Global Service Desk, and Technical Account Management.

Together, these teams work to ensure Equinix customers are supported every step of the way, from installing and running of data center operations, to maximizing Equinix’s digital product offerings, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Outside of his core responsibilities in Global Customer Care and Experience, Kimm is active in the company’s work on Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. From 2019-2021 Kimm was the leader of the Equinix Allies Council, a group of Equinix senior leaders who advocate for underrepresented communities at Equinix, are actively investing in their own development as inclusive leaders and leading change throughout the company.

Born and raised in the Washington DC area, during his career, Kimm has lived and worked outside of the US and has led teams on five continents. Before joining Equinix, Kimm’s experience was in the IT and telecommunications industries. After six years in IT, Kimm in 1997, joined UUNET Technologies, the first commercial Internet Services Provider, and via successive acquisitions, became a leader at WorldCom, MCI, and Verizon in a wide variety of functions. In January 2018, Kimm joined Equinix as Senior Vice President of Americas Data Center Operations. Kimm moved to Global Customer Care and Experience in February 2023.

Kimm is thrilled to be married to his wife, Emily, to be the father of four daughters and grandfather to one granddaughter.

Amazon

Shannon Kellogg is Vice President of Public Policy at Amazon, where he leads the company’s public policy efforts in support of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) business in the Americas. In this role, he manages government affairs professionals in the US (at both the federal and state/local levels), Canada, Mexico, South Americas, and Central America and the Caribbean. Kellogg and his team focus on issues such as cloud computing, cyber security, data protection, procurement policy, machine learning, education, workforce development, healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, and energy sector issues.

Prior to joining Amazon in October 2012, Kellogg was Senior Director of Government Affairs for EMC Corporation, serving as the head of the company’s public policy office in Washington, DC. During his nine-year tenure at EMC and RSA (the Security Division of EMC), Kellogg also served as Director of Information Security Policy and Director of Global Government and Industry Affairs.

A 21-year veteran of the IT industry, Kellogg also had senior public policy roles at the Business Software Alliance, the Information Technology Association of America and the Global Internet Project before joining RSA/EMC. Kellogg was a founding member of the National Cyber Security Alliance, serving on the Alliance’s board from 2004 – 2011, including as Board Chairman and Treasurer. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, is a Board Member and Board Secretary of the American Council on Renewable Energy , and also currently serves as a Visiting Fellow for the National Security Institute at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School.

Kellogg received his Master of Arts in International Transactions from the George Mason University School of Public Policy in Virginia.

CyrusOne’s general counsel, Robert Jackson, champions a commercially-oriented, “focus on what matters” approach to business, fueled by a relentless passion for digital infrastructure, real estate development, and value creation.  His journey as business lawyer, trusted advisor, and real estate executive, provides a unique perspective that complements the company’s diverse senior management team.  Robert currently leads the company’s legal and environmental health, safety, and sustainability (EHSS) teams, serves on the capital and pricing committees and works extensively with the Board of Managers as secretary. From 2020 to 2024, Robert also led the Human Resources team, leaving a lasting impact on the company’s culture and talent development strategies.

Since joining the company in 2015, Robert has provided steady leadership during a period of dramatic growth and change.  He continues to focus on scaling internal and external legal resources to provide innovative, difference-making solutions to support the company’s transformative global growth.  Under his guidance, the EHSS team drives CyrusOne’s industry-leading ESG initiatives, positioning the company at the forefront of sustainable data center operations.  During his tenure as HR leader, Robert emphasized the development of a deep and diverse team, fostering a culture of engagement and inclusion that has become a cornerstone of CyrusOne’s success.

Robert played a pivotal role in the strategic review process that culminated in the historic 2022 take-private transaction, valued at $15 billion – a record-breaking deal in the industry.  His expertise was crucial in navigating the deal’s complexities and guiding post-transaction strategic planning. 

Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, home of the University of Missouri – Columbia, Robert proudly calls himself a “Tiger by birth.”  He is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business (BS Finance), the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law (JD with distinction) and the University of Florida Levin School of Law (LLM Taxation).  Robert represents the company on the Board of Directors of the Data Center Coalition, the premier trade association for the data center industry, serving as a member of the executive committee. Mr. Harney is the COO of CloudHQ LLC, a hyperscale data center developer, owner and operator with major data centers in Northern Virginia.  CloudHQ has significant land holdings in Data Center Alley and Prince William County that are data center ready.  CloudHQ is expanding into the United Kingdom, Germany and France.

Mr. Harney is a graduate of Montana State University and New York University’s Real Estate Institute.  He is also a member of ULI and NVTC.

Global Economic Development Lead

Google 

Adria D. Troyer is the Global Economic Development Lead for Google. In this role, Adria leverages her experience providing thought-leadership to Google on economic development market operations, risk management, policy and advocacy, and economic development structuring. 

Prior to joining Google, Adria worked for Ernst and Young LLP (EY)’s Location Strategy, Tax Credits, and Incentives Advisory practices. In this role, she advised national and international companies on site selection and location feasibility, identified and negotiated tax incentives, structured incentives transactions, and secured sustainability incentives. Early in her career, Adria served in a number of roles in the Ohio Governor’s office and worked as a Digital Projects Manager on a presidential campaign. 

Adria received her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School and has been admitted to the Ohio Bar. Adria also received a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Kent State University.

As SVP & GM, Hyperscale, for Iron Mountain’s Data Center Business Unit, Rohit is responsible for IMDC’s global hyperscale business, including all commercial activities: sales, delivery, and account management, strategic direction for this business, operational oversight, and financial management to maximize customer satisfaction, deepen executive-level relationships, and develop and own our growth strategy. 

Rohit has held previous roles within Iron Mountain, including VP & Global Head of Hyperscale Implementation & Account Management, where he was responsible for the successful onboarding and the overall customer experience. Prior to that, he was VP, Sales & Customer Success, North America, where he was responsible for our commercial activities for retail & enterprise customers, including new logo acquisition, growth within existing accounts, customer satisfaction, and renewals of existing customers. Prior to that, he was VP, Account Management & Customer Success, North America, where he was responsible for the overall customer relationships for our enterprise and retail customers, including customer satisfaction and renewals of existing customers. Prior to Iron Mountain, Rohit held senior level positions with Verisign at their Security Services business unit and America Online/Time Warner. 

Rohit represents Iron Mountain on the boards of the Data Center Coalition and Clean Energy Buyers Association. Rohit is also a board member of the Little Folks School in Washington, DC.

Mr. Robinson is Aligned Data Centers’ Executive Vice President of Strategic Development and General Counsel, responsible for all legal and development matters for the Company since inception. He has been in practice for over 25 years, cultivating strategic relationships, identifying and analyzing development opportunities, finalizing sales and commercial transactions, and handling all matters involving all types of contractual matters globally, business development, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities transactions (public and private), intellectual property (including patents and trademarks), construction, and regulatory matters.  Prior to joining the Company in 2011, he held senior executive positions within telecommunications and service providers, including general counsel of Con Edison Communications and general counsel and co-CEO of a managed video services provider.  Before going in-house, he was associated with the New York City offices of international law firms.  Mr. Robinson received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (magna cum laude) and a Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School.

Page Haun joined Cologix in 2020 as the company’s first Chief Marketing and ESG Strategy Officer. In this role, Haun is focused on accelerating the company’s growth by building marketing programs and thought leadership to promote Cologix’s exceptional colocation and interconnection platform as well as leading ESG initiatives that are sustainable and deliver a positive impact for employees, customers, partners and local communities. 

With more than 25 years of technology experience, Haun has held various global marketing leadership positions. Prior to joining Cologix, Haun was the head of Brand Strategy, Content and Creative Services at Equinix. While at Equinix, Haun also led Americas Regional Marketing, Marketing Planning and one of the company’s top global customer experience initiatives. Additionally, Haun has held several marketing leadership roles in the telecom and media and entertainment industries at Dolby Laboratories, AT&T Broadband/Comcast and Charter Communications. Throughout her career, Haun has been known to be an advocate for change and was recognized for developing winning strategies, delivering results, building and leading high performing teams as well as positively impacting diversity, equity and inclusion. 

As a recognized leader in the industry and in her communities, Haun is involved with multiple non-profits that focus on providing opportunities for early education in low income communities as well as mentoring both students and professional colleagues. Brett Collard joined Compass Datacenters in 2019 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Land Development. Brett is involved in the strategic planning process of site acquisition, power procurement, entitlement, development, and capital markets. 

Prior to Compass, Brett worked as a strategy and operations consultant for a cybersecurity firm, Armor Defense, and AlixPartners. Brett received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

As CoreSite’s Chief Revenue Officer, Maile is responsible for overseeing overall revenue growth and strategy for the company's portfolio of datacenters. Maile manages daily operations for the company’s national sales and marketing organization and managing strategic planning and business development as well as product development of the interconnection services. Functional areas of responsibility include marketing, sales, channel partners, sales operations/enablement, Solutions Architects, Interconnection Product and strategic business development. Maile brings over 25 years of sales and management experience in the data center, network communications, software and managed services industries driving growth and innovation for companies including IO Datacenters (now Iron Mountain) Abovenet Communications (now Zayo) and Oracle Corporation. Maile received a BA in English Literature from the University of California, at Berkeley. She is a member of iMasons and serves on the board of the Data Center Coalition.CoreSite, Ms. Walker and her team advise on and influence decision-making regarding all aspects of the data center business, business development and strategy. At American Tower, she played a leading role in the acquisition of CoreSite. Ms. Walker earned her B.A. from Purdue University in Political Science and Professional Writing, and her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.

Steve Smith, Managing Director of Americas, leads Digital Realty’s team in driving profitable growth and value of PlatformDIGITAL® in the Americas region. Steve joined Digital Realty following eight years at CoreSite, most recently in the role of Chief Revenue Officer, where he was responsible for the customer lifecycle, including sales and sales engineering, marketing, and new product innovation. Phillip Marangella is the Chief Marketing and Product Officer at EdgeConneX, where he develops and executes the company's marketing and product strategies. With 25 years of experience in international marketing, strategy, and business development across the data center, telecom, and technology sectors, he brings significant expertise to his role. 

Phillip serves on the marketing advisory boards for Lokker, Salute Mission Critical, and Infrastructure Masons. His leadership has earned him several awards, including the PTC'23 Outstanding Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award for developing and mentoring HBCU Capstone Programs, and the Datacloud Global Agent of Change Award in 2023.  

Phillip earned the Infrastructure Masons Champion Awards for Diversity & Inclusion and Education in 2021 and was recognized as a top 10 marketing executive by DataCentre Magazine. 

Before joining EdgeConneX, Phillip held key roles at companies like Equinix, Coresite, Verizon Business, MCI, Nortel, Globalstar, and Satphone. He also co-founded a tech consulting firm focused on international technology transfer and venture funding of university-developed technology.

Julie Brewer leads EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure’s finance organization, including strategic financial planning, capital markets, accounting, procurement, treasury, and investor relations. Julie brings to EdgeCore deep experience in finance and asset management within the data center industry. Prior to joining EdgeCore, Julie held several roles at CoreSite Realty Corporation, most recently as Vice President, General Management, of CoreSite’s Los Angeles and Denver markets. In that role, Julie was accountable for revenue generation, profitability, strategic planning, and capital allocation across a $2 billion portfolio of data center assets. Before joining the general management team, Julie was a member of CoreSite’s finance organization, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, capital structure, investor reporting, and underwriting.

Julie earned her BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

Rebecca leads the Data Center, Energy and Sustainability Public Policy team at Meta. In this role, she leverages her background and team of subject matter experts in public policy, energy, economic development strategy, and research to evaluate and advocate on policies across the globe that impact data centers. 

Prior to joining Meta, Rebecca worked at Portland General Electric, Oregon’s largest electric utility, where she advocated on policies in western states related to decarbonization, resource adequacy, customer programs, and utility structuring. She has also represented Fortune 500 tech companies on high-impact policies ranging from tax incentives to digital privacy, and worked on non-partisan tax and energy ballot measures and elections analysis in states and local communities across the country. 

Rebecca holds a Masters in Urban Studies and Planning from Portland State University, where she also received her Bachelor of Arts in History and English Literature.

Joe is the Director of State & Local Tax Policy at Microsoft.  Joe has been with Microsoft for 28 years.  His roles have included overseeing Microsoft’s Indirect Tax function, including:  Compliance & Reporting, Research & Analysis, Planning & Implementation, Emerging Business Consultation, Audits & Appeals, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Incentives & Credits.  Joe also supports the company’s data center organization on all U.S. tax matters.    In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for the Data Center Coalition, Joe serves on the WA State Department of Revenue Business Advisory Council, the Association of Washington Business Tax & Fiscal Policy Council, and is a member of the Washington Research Council Board of Directors.  Joe is a graduate of the University of Montana and holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting & Finance and he has passed the CPA exam.  He has four children and is a resident of Sammamish, WA.

Chris Curtis is the Prologis Global Head of Data Centers.

Chris is an experienced data center veteran who has led the strategy, design, development, construction and power procurement for over 3 GW of data centers throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. He was the co-founder of Compass Datacenters where he sourced and led the development for every data center project at the company from 2011 through 2023.

Prior to 2011 Chris spent over 10 years leading the development of various complex high-security build-to-suit projects, primarily for the U.S. Federal Government tenants.

He is a thought leader in the data center industry and frequent speaker at industry events. He has served on both the Data Center Coalition Board of Directors and ULI Data Center Product Council since inception.

Chris holds a BSBA from the University of Arkansas, a JD from Southern Methodist University and an LLM in taxation from the New York University School of Law.

Nick Blessing is the Director of Public Policy & Economic Development at QTS Data Centers, a leading global provider of colocation data center services and technology infrastructure. Nick and his team focus on growing the QTS business by partnering with governments of all sizes to implement business friendly policies and secure creative, differentiated economic development tools for QTS and its customers. Nick has created and grown QTS’ multi-state government affairs practice and has been responsible for the implementation of various public-private workforce development programs, sustainability initiatives, community partnerships, and pro-industry legislative policies across the country.

A proud southern Virginia native, Nick attended the University of Virginia where he focused his studies in Government and fostered his passion for state and local government.

As Vice President of Public Affairs Kevin Hughes manages the Public Affairs organization for STACK and leverages his experience in tech and infrastructure policy, infrastructure strategy, operations, and program management, to create a more favorable environment for data center development and highlight the benefits of the industry to policy government stakeholders at the state, local, and federal levels.

Prior to his current role, Kevin spent over 10 years at Meta advising their global policy and product leadership on how to develop policy strategies for future product development, leading a team comprised of policy, legal, and product professionals to establish global organizational strategies to adapt to new regulatory structures, working within the technical infrastructure space on data center and network infrastructure policy issues, and deploying data centers and networks as a technical program manager.

Kevin is a member of the Data Center Coalition’s Board of Directors and Co-Chairs the Coalition’s Policy Council; is an appointed member of the Board of City of Fredericksburg’s Economic Development Authority and serves as acting Treasurer; is a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America’s National Capital Area Council; and is on the Advisory Board for the University of Mary Washington’s College of Business.

Natalie Stewart Mitchell is the Senior Vice President of Government and Public Affairs for Switch. She brings extensive experience in public policy development, community and political relations, campaign and ethics compliance, business development, land development and advocacy to her work at Switch. 

Natalie leads the Government and Public Affairs division that develops and implements the company’s public policy work in the areas including technology, tax, economic development, energy and sustainability policy, and education and workforce. Natalie directs these efforts for Switch nationally, and is focused on jurisdictions where Switch has prime campuses: Nevada, Michigan, Georgia, and Texas. In addition, Natalie leads Switch's federal efforts in Washington DC. 

Natalie works closely on strategic partnerships, and on client development strategies. She uses her knowledge of infrastructure and public sector needs to play a large role in business development for Switch. 

Prior to joining Switch, Natalie’s distinguished career included legislative staff positions with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and State of Michigan. Natalie served in leadership positions with two Speakers of the Michigan House of Representatives, the Office of Michigan Attorney General, and the Michigan Secretary of State. Natalie served on many presidential and congressional political campaigns. She worked on Capitol Hill for the United States Senate and served as a federal lobbyist for the Associated Builders and Contractors in Washington D.C.

A native Michigander, Natalie is active in the community and serves on the Board of the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, ArtPrize 2.0, the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, The Georgia Chamber, Texas Taxpayers and Research Association and is the Chair of the Friends of West Michigan PAC. Natalie has a B.A. from Boston College and Masters work in public policy through Michigan State University. 

A self-proclaimed "sports" mom, you can often find Natalie in a rink or on the sidelines cheering for her three children and pursuing her passion for travel and cooking.

Tom has over 30 years of leadership roles within the mission-critical industry and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for T5 Data Centers. T5's full life cycle of solutions include Build to Suit, leasing, development, construction services, facilities management and operations. T5's Forever On Data Centers are committed to sustainability and focused on renewables. 

Prior to T5, Mertz served as CEO of CPG. Mertz helped the company outpace the data center industry by intentionally transforming how CPG approaches the design, construction, service, monitoring and maintenance of high-powered facilities for its customers.

Previously, Tom was an Executive Vice President for QTS, which owns, operates and manages state-of-the-art data center facilities around the world. Tom also spent 10 years at Lee Technologies, where he was instrumental in leading that company’s transformation into a leading solutions provider for the data center industry.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public and Urban Affairs from Georgia State University with continued leadership education at Emory’s Goizueta Business School and George Mason University.

Serving as Vice President, Global Marketing at Vantage Data Centers, Mark Freeman leads the company’s corporate and product marketing programs. He is responsible for building brand awareness, driving demand generation and increasing customer engagement.

Mark has more than 20 years of strategic marketing experience delivering high-impact business results, including growing market share, acquiring and retaining customers, launching products, expanding into new markets and rebranding companies. Throughout his career, Mark has been a part of numerous public and private companies. He is a trusted advisor and business partner, working with various executives and department leaders to deliver shareholder value through organic and M&A growth.

Prior to joining Vantage Data Centers, Mark served as the Senior Director of Marketing at DuPont Fabros Technology (DFT Data Centers) where he was responsible for advancing the company’s brand, accelerating organic growth through direct and indirect sales channels, and diversifying the company’s markets and product offerings.

Mark has extensive experience in a range of sectors, including technology (SaaS, hardware, wireless communications and physical infrastructure), services and publishing. He played an instrumental role in the growth of organizations such as CalAmp, Wireless Matrix, BizFlow, Balfour Beatty Construction and Standard Publishing.

Mark graduated from Indiana State University with a B.S. in public relations and a double minor in marketing and journalism. He also holds an M.S. in marketing from The John Hopkins University.

Donncha Ó Tuama is VP General Counsel for Yondr, a leading developer of hyperscale data centers, globally. 

Mr. Ó Tuama is responsible for the legal and commercial aspects of delivering Yondr’s data centers, from site selection and development, through leasing, project financing, design & construction to fully operational.  

Mr. Ó Tuama was born in Cork, Ireland and began his legal career as a Barrister in 2009, before joining Ireland’s leading law firm, Arthur Cox, in 2013 where he practiced in commercial litigation and tax disputes. In 2018, he moved to Chicago as Special Counsel Litigation at AmLaw100 law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman. He has significant experience across Real Estate, Financial Services, Capital Markets, Digital Infrastructure and Tech sectors. Mr. Ó Tuama joined Yondr in 2021 and has since delivered 500MW of IT capacity at campuses in Northern Virginia, London, Frankfurt and Johor. He is a regular contributor at industry panels. He now lives in San Francisco.

Mr. Ó Tuama is dual-qualified: admitted to the Bar in the US (Illinois, California) and Ireland. He also holds the Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification for tax professionals.
